The word "DOCTOR" means teacher - instructor - director.

My job in this lifetime is to inform and direct in matters of health and well being. I draw from my experience in mechanical engineering and machine design as well as studies in human anatomy and physiology and physics and metaphysics and chemistry to present a concept of human health that is slightly different from Western Allopathic Medicine.

• I maintain that there is no mystery or magic or miracle to the expression of life on this planet.
Magic is the observance of an apparent unexplainable event or phenomenon.
• A miracle is a phenomenon or event observed or experienced from a limited knowledge base.
• A mystery is the continued lack of knowledge of a subject or event.
• Information from a different perspective can remove the mystery or explain the magic or miracle.
I would like the opportunity to present a different perspective of pain and discomfort as experienced by the
majority of the human race. By understanding the mechanics of the purpose and design of this "HUMAN MACHINE" (our body), we can remove the "mystery" of pain.
Pain results from the violation of the laws of physics.

Understanding the laws of physics that drive this HUMAN MACHINE can provide new and different choices for behavior, which can remove the reason for PAIN and DISCOMFORT and DEGENERATION.
“THE HUMAN MACHINE ... a Trouble-Shooter’s Manual”

Is a three volume series of books that discusses the issue of health from a position of responsibility rather than one of victimhood.

My main focus in this series can be summed up in a few very important principles, which I will emphasize over and over throughout this book series. The repeated exposure to the same concepts is purposeful:

• The Universe is always in balance. Balance = Homeostasis = Health
• “Symptoms of dis - ease” are the Universe in the process of returning to balance.
• Structure governs function ... the shape of something determines how it can be used.
• Environmental conditioning can bias a behavior only within its potential or structural capacity.
• Blood chemistry drives behavior and can and will trump or override intellectual choice.
• There is no mystery or magic ... just lack of information and understanding.
• Vibration is an expressive manifestation of Energy.
• The vibration of a medium creates shape in that medium. (Do a Google search on "CYMATICS".)
• There is no free lunch ... Every thing and every action consumes or changes energy (has a price).
• Survival of the fittest ... only the strongest and most resilient creatures survive to propagate the species (in a natural habitat, that is).
• Our greatest asset (the ability to adapt/accommodate) is also our greatest detriment.   (The ability to change sometimes saves us from destruction. But then, continuous change sometimes places us too far from balance, which spells “destruction”.)
• To be in integrity you must "live what you believe and believe what you live". (Lack of “integrity” creates caustic stress, which is the ultimate killer ... not only of the body, but most importantly, of the character.)
This book series will focus on the missing pieces of information in the western allopathic medical model’s concept of homeostasis with regards to the digestion process and the resulting disease (dis – ease) profiles that plague our present day society.

In light of this “new” information, there are suggestions for definite effective behavior and habit changes that can easily resolve most of the discomforts and aches and pains and degenerative conditions that are causing untold misery and financial disasters in our lives today.  The “health care” debacle that is threatening our very existence today can easily be obliterated with the application of these principles presented here.

I would like to emphasize here that as the title suggests, this is a “trouble-shooter’s manual”. In other words, “this is how the machine is supposed to work”.  When it does not perform to the design specs, “this is a list of things that could be wrong or damaged”.  What you do with that information is your business.  It’s your choice to do something … or not.  When “this thingy” doesn’t work, “that broken connection or plugged line” is likely the problem.  What YOU do with that information will determine whether or not you will remain in pain.  I will not acknowledge your “victimhood”.  You have choices!!!
There are carloads of books and tapes “out there” with specific detailed information suggesting that you take or apply someone’s favorite remedy to a problem situation.

My focus here is not brand name hype, but an overview of the intent of the design function of this machine from a mechanical engineer’s perspective.

This “thingy” is connected to that “gizmo” … and if you do this, something might break or wear out sooner than you would like.  These observations and suggestions in this book series are maintenance procedures to prolong the life and usefulness of this HUMAN MACHINE (our body).

When people come to me, they come with questions.

Why do I hurt? or Why doesn’t my body do what I want it to do?

In a private counseling session I usually interrogate the body by observing the colors, textures, and smells of the body and by testing the sensitivity of pressure points and the relative  strength of muscles. I point out that the body is always “talking” to us, and it always tells the truth. I draw from my training in engineering and my experience with “human machines” to help translate the language of the body (pain) into English so that we can determine what the best course of action might be to re-establish balance or homeostasis. The body knows what it does not need or want and it lets us know by making us uncomfortable.

• Sometimes the “problem” can be addressed with a simple change in diet and/or environment.
• Sometimes we may need to “nudge” the body with herbs and/or other natural remedies including different forms of massage or tissue manipulation.
• On rare occasions, drugs and/or surgery would be best to relieve the situation.
• You and I will spend about an hour together examining your choices and will decide on an action plan together!
